A love of people, nature, art, and color. Discover the story behind Marvellissima, founded by Marvel Perilla Britton.
Born and raised on Corn Island on Nicaragua’s Atlantic Coast, Marvel developed a passion for people and a love of nature that shaped her perspective from an early age. Her journey took her to South America and then to Germany’s Goethe-Institut.
During visits to the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, she found inspiration in the vibrant colors of ancient Sumerian and Babylonian art. The Ishtar Gate and the Processional Way became muses for a collection of earth tones, harvest hues, and jewel-like color.

With a background in international business and diplomacy, Marvel brought her multicultural perspective to cosmetics. Marvellissima grew from her desire to create a color palette that enhances individual beauty across a diversity of skin tones.
From the palest porcelains to rich bronze and espresso tones, the collection invites women to discover their own expression through color.
